Liburan kali ini saya beserta teman-teman mengunjungi salah satu daerah disebelah utara Kota Bandung, dengan waktu tempuh sekitar 45 menit jika melalui Jalan Tol Cipularang dan sekitar 1,5 Jam jika melalui jalur Lembang – Subang – Wanayasa.
Hari pertama saya dan teman-teman mengunjungi salah satu objek wisata yang masih terbilang baru di Purwakarta, yaitu Giri Tirta Kahuripan. Objek wisata yang terdiri dari Agrowisata, Kolam Renang, dan Resort ini dapat ditempuh melalui jalan ke arah Wanayasa, Purwakarta. Sesampainya di Objek Wisata ini, kami membeli tiket masuk agrowisata terlebih dahulu dengan harga tiket masuk Rp.25.000,- dengan fasilitas shuttle car untuk berkeliling kawasan agrowisata. Disini banyak yang bisa ditemui, seperti kandang-kandang hewan langka, perkebunan buah, kolam ikan. Selain itu banyak aktivitas yang bisa dilakukan disini, seperti Flying Fox, Sepeda Air, ATV, dan lain-lain. Sayang sekali kita tidak terlalu lama disini, karena langit sudah semakin gelap dan akan turun hujan.
Ternyata benar, selang berapa menit turun hujan dengan intensitas lebat disertai dengan angin dan petir. Untungnya kami sudah turun dari shuttle. Selagi menunggu hujan, kami menikmati hidangan didalam restoran. Mestinya view dari sini terlihat bagus, berhubung kondisinya hujan dan berkabut jadi kami hanya melihat kolam renang saja.
Kolam renang dengan harga tiket masuk Rp.50.000,- ini menawarkan view dari ketinggian, dan memberikan sensasi renang seperti tanpa batas (infinite pool). Selesai hujan, kami pun langsung berganti pakaian dengan pakaian renang. Beruntungnya, pada saat kami berenang kondisi kolam sangat sepi dikarenakan pengunjung bergegas pulang mengingat sebelumnya hujan besar terjadi disini.

Keesokan harinya, pada pagi hari kami bersepeda mengelilingi pusat kota Purwakarta berhubung setiap hari minggu, disini selalu diadakan Car Free Day (Hari Bebas Kendaraan). Pada saat kami kesini, ternyata kondisi jalanan sangat ramai dikarenakan Purwakarta mengadakan sepeda santai, dan pesertanya pun sangat banyak sehingga menutupi seluruh jalan. Kami pun mengalah, dan kami memisahkan diri ke depan Stasiun Purwakarta yang kondisinya sangat berbeda 180 derajat, disini sangat sepi dan kondusif
